Here's what I do

I bring over 20 years of musical training and performance experience as a session violinist and vocalist, and I love collaborating with artists to help bring their ideas to life. I achieved my Grade 8 RCM certification and Level 2 Theory in violin by the age of 13, and later graduated from the Music Industry Arts program at Fanshawe College in 2016.

My work spans a wide range of genres including orchestral, folk, ambient, country, indie, alternative, grunge/rock, pop, R&B, and hip hop. I enjoy collaborating with artists in both live and studio environments, whether the project is highly arranged or built through improvisation and creative exploration.

As a session musician, I’ve performed at Massey Hall’s TD Music Hall and have been featured on CBC Music Live and CBC q.

Songwriting & Production

Building on my journey as the frontwoman of Glass Face, I’ve spent years immersed in songwriting and production, collaborating with artists and working within professional studio environments. I’ve had the opportunity to write and produce with emerging artists connected to Universal Music, as well as collaborate with musicians including Sara Sloan, Mappe Of, and Liz Lokre.

With classical training through the Royal Conservatory of Music and a diploma from Fanshawe College’s Music Industry Arts program, where I received the Sony Songwriting Award, I bring both creative instinct and technical understanding to the songwriting process.

My debut single Holland was featured on MTV’s Teen Wolf, and my cover of Hotline Bling reached the #5 most viral track on Spotify. Experiences like these continue to shape how I approach music today — as both a deeply personal and collaborative process.

When working with artists, I focus on creating an environment built around comfort, confidence, and creativity, helping bring ideas to life from the first spark through to the final production.

String Arrangement and performance

Original string composition performance for collaboration with Big Blue Bubbles for their video game "My Singing Monsters" featuring their Seasonal Shanty character, Ffidyll.

Glass Face began in Ontario in 2015 as a dream pop project between myself, Cole Sefton, and Dylan King. Shortly after releasing our debut single Holland, the track landed a placement on MTV’s Teen Wolf, which led to the band becoming one of the most Shazamed artists of the week as listeners searched for the sound they had just heard.

Later that same year, our cover of Hotline Bling reached #5 on Spotify’s Viral chart, creating an exciting early moment for the project.

Our first EP, You Are Nowhere, blends elements of folk, post-rock, and electronica into a short exploration of atmosphere, texture, and emotion. It captures a moment of discovery for us as musicians experimenting with sound and exploring where the project could go.

More recently, I’ve been working on bringing my solo project Shimmer to life. Shimmer is an ethereal alt-grunge project exploring introspection, emotion, and the search for meaning beneath the surface, drawing inspiration from the ocean and the feeling of searching for answers somewhere deeper beneath the waves.
